What colour is it??????

Hey all, just found the site and I'm hoping someone can help me?! I've almost finished a load of work on my sister in law's Mk3 Hornet, all I need to do now is paint it but I'm struggling to find out what colour it is....well, apart from it being green.... I've found what looks suspiciously like a paint code printed on a plate under the bonnet, it's W15S. Am I looking at the right number? Any help would be fantastic! Thanks in advance, great site, by the way!

That doesn't look like a paint code, certainly not for a green car. It would most likely be one of these:
Body: Everglade Green (GN42) Roof: Snowberry White (WT4)
Body: Glen Green (GN40) Roof: Spruce green (GN13)

Hi, thanks for the reply. Glen green sounds favourite as it's got a dark green roof (which presumably is spruce green). I'll get some mixed up today and see what happens! I'll let you know how I get on. Been doing quite a lot of work to it recently, new floor, new brakes, steering rack overhaul.... Only came in for a blowy exhaust!

I can confirm from looking at your pics that the only two green body/roof for the Hornet MkIII was Glen Green for the body, Code GN40 and Spruce Green for the roof, Code GN13. Seats were Porcelain Green, headlining Pale Cream. Door seals either natural rubber or Almond Green and the carpets Almond Green also.

Welcome, I love this post, I first came on this site asking about colours. Over three years and two Elfs later......

Newton Commercial are about the best for reproducing as near as authentic interior colours. Expensive but good quality

Brave man for taking on that floor. Looks like it will be a nice and unusual car when finished

It's almost done now, got the spraygun out today, interior should be in tomorrow and then she can have it back!!!
