Elfred has gone to a good home.
Hello everyone,
Yesterday morning I sadly handed over Elfred (my 1965 Riley Elf Mk 2) to his new owner, who lives in the West Midlands, South West of Birmingham. Elfred made the 60 mile journey to his new home without any problems.
The new owner is a motoring journalist and is very pleased with Elfred. Elfred will share a garage with his early Mk1 Mini and he will keep the car original.
I'm sure that we will see Elfred turning up at a show or two in the future.
Best regards,
Richard

That goes for me too. Good to hear he is keeping the Elf original too.

Thanks Alastair,
I will still keep up my EHR membership, as it is a great club with super people in it. You never know if I will be tempted to buy another Elf or Hornet again!
No doubt I will still see you and other EHR members at the shows and I will pop over for a chat.
I will still be going to the Mini shows with my 1984 Mini Sprite. I am also still running a 1970 Morris Minor and a 1955 Standard 10, which is much more manageable than the 6 classics I owned a year ago!
Perhaps I will see you at Castle Combe later this year.
Best regards,
Richard

Re: Elfred has gone to a good home.
Just because you had the second best Elf in the county, you didn't have to go and sell it!!! (Only joking Rich!) Sad Elfred's not going to be around, but understand your reasons.
Good that you're staying a member though. Keep in touch.
