Katy's New Home
Hi everyone. You may have heard that Katy ('68 Elf) has moved south of the river in London and happy to report that she is settling in well at her new home. We are still in the honeymoon period when life is all trips for new accessories (we're looking for a new hubcap if anyone has any leads) and spa days at the hand wash. Can hardly wait for the weather to clear up so we can head out for our country picnics and seaside sojourns. Driving gloves and car shoes at the ready ...
Looking forward to meeting you all and learning some more practical stuff about Katy. On that note, if anyone can recommend a good garage in South/South West London (or if there are any amateur mechanics/dab hands out there who could teach me a thing or two I don't mnd getting my hands dirty), all advice appreciated.
Drop me a line if you'd like to know more or have any helpful hints for a new owner, and no doubt see you all soon. I tried to post a pick but don't see it in preview but will hopefully be there (if not she's a real red beauty).
Cheerio

Re: Katy's New Home
Welcome to the EHR, good to see Katy is still a part of it!
If you don't mind travelling a little way, you seriously won't find a better garage for Minis/Elf/Hornet etc than ML Motorsport at Higham, just past Gravesend, probably the best in the country, especially for engines.

Hi Jeff,
It's good to hear all is well. Ray, a member of the club but is not active on the forum has said he will help me replace Katy's missing hubcap. I'll hopefully see him at London to Brighton this weekend but I'll keep you posted.
It's great to see you here and a huge relief to know that Katy has got a good home and is being spoilt rotten!!
All the best
