Wooden Dash Topper

I was searching on youtube the other day to see what I could find, and I noticed this video of a Hornet on the Fuji Speedway. It appears as though the Hornet has a Riley Dash, but also has a wooden dash topper with a chrome strip on the front, and some other wooden bits. Here is the video:

Is this a kit that you can buy or is it one-of? Has anyone seen this before or have any photos of this car?

I wonder if that's wood or maybe some other material as it seems to run right round onto the doors and up the A pillars as well. If it's wood, that would be a load of tricky precision woodwork.

I guessed it was wood, as it seems to match the rest of the dash, and it isn't the body colour. I'd like to find some photos of it either way. The video is rather fuzzy.

There are some interesting customized bits there. I'd say the dash top is wood.
