My son is getting married the following weekend and I'm sure I will be busy with wedding related tasks.

Are you having a Mini/Elf/Hornet theme?
My daughter had 11 minis and Dereks stretch limo and even a mini on her wedding cake made by the best man!

I'm sure the Club members will join me in wishing your son and future daughter in law the very best on the Day.

I have one ticket remaining. I have a request from Liz in Wales (Volcano orange Elf) on hold for the last ticket because I was fairly sure someone else had asked for a ticket previously, but I can't find it on a thread. So if you have let me know! (Al - I have a feeling it may have been you saying Ray may want one???)

as of this moment ray will be coming along to malvern too - let liz have the ticket and we'll blag ray in on the day unless you can ring 'em for another ticket?

we're hoping to come down on the saturday in convoy with sj and stay 2 nights, going home monday - at least that's the plan

These are all of the slots taken up for the stand (officially). Liz from Wales (Volcano orange Elf) may well join us, but will have to try to blag on to the stand space.

I am aiming to get to Malvern about 9am, and will hand Tony and Kevin their tickets upon arrival. If you two, wait just outside the main entrance and give me a call on 07900 492712 when you get there, I will come out with your ticket. Alternatively, you can try and do what Andrew did last year and try and get in without it!!!

Al, SJ and Ray will receive their tickets from me on Saturday night as they are staying in my part of the world.

Have a good journey down. We are staying in Cheltenham on Sat Night at Briarfields Motel and Touring park £39/night. Been there before at the motel and with the caravan. Very comfortable. Will bring some brochures along if they have any.(Glos Travel lodge was booked up)

A big thanks to Big Al, "Mum", Ray, Tony & Jill, Kevin, Alex and Sarah and Marc for coming down, making the stand look great, and being great company over the weekend.

And an extra well done to Kevin and Tony for their first and second place in the Elf/Hornet/Clubman category respectively

I will do a report for the newsletter, with some help from Marc, and post some pics up as soon as I get a chance!

Cool. t'was a top weekend mate, and ta for my pressies.............will have to come again!

I'm sorry I missed the fun. I was on an epic eBay mission collecting a Mini Clubman Estate project for my Girlfriends lad. Epic because it took 2 full days and 3 round trips (2 to Chester) thanks to a traffic officer that isn't clear on the law

In case any of you fall foul whilst trailering here's what we have learnt (apart from stay out of Cheshire);

You can (with a category B license) tow a "large trailer" (over 750kgs) provided that the Trailer loaded does not weigh more than the unladen weight of the towing vehicle and the combined weight (train weight) is not over 3.5 tons. This fact the officer failed to mention when he was issuing a 3 point ticket to my friend.

We should have gone to the show instead

You should be able to challenge that in court and get the 3pts rescinded
