Bromley Pageant of Motoring, june 13th 2010

we shall have our customary club stand here for 15 cars (10 confirmed so far, not counting "Rusty" who may make an appearance on a trailer, or, possibly, the rustiest 'Heinz '57' in the world, also by trailer) and we shall be camping in the park on the sat night with a bit of a party, and plans are in hand to screen the england game too (on my telly from home, with a generator or inverter for power) so let me know asap, as it's first come first served and only a fiver a ticket for our pre-booked passes (their costs not mine) for the largest one-day classic car show in the world.....

13 cars confirmed for our stand at Bromley next sunday (inverter purchased so we can show the football too on sat night) including 3 crayfords (2 good ones and possibly the worst!) as our centrepiece.

anyone wishing to take advantage of the last two tickets, please let me know asap

Hey Al,

Looking forward to this one. What's the plan for food on the Sat eve for those of us who are camping? I know you've ordered pizza in before, but are we planning a club barbeque with a few disposable barbie's and everyone bringing a few bits.

I'd probably prefer a barbie, but what do other think? If it's too much hassle, I'm happy to go along with th pizza option.

i'll pick up a couple of disposable barbies and we can all bring a few rolls, burgers and bangers - with a little salad and some coleslaw a veritable feast will be up for grabs.

mustn't forget the beer and wine...

Since when do you do salad - LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds ike a good plan - wine and beer were on the list, irrespective of food !!

Had a cracking day at Bromley Pageant yesterday. Will try and get the pictures up later, but what a day for the register!!!! Big Al may want to announce the news, so I will wait for him to make the announcement before I put the pics up!!!

Good to meet new faces yesterday, and see some familiar ones too! Great display of cars. Well worth leaving at 5am for!!!

Yep, it was a good day. Nice to get to meet some of you and a great turn-out of cars on the stand drawing a fair bit of attention! Bit suprised by how many people would look and say 'I didn't know they made these' though...

i have finally found a spare couple of minutes between work, dismantling jvg, and the world cup to proudly announce that we won the best special club display at the bromley pageant. we now have a lovely trophy and a prize money cheque for club funds for £100!

major hurrahs are in order and i'd like to thank everyone who attended this splendid occasion - shame a certain mr. green failed to live up to our expectations, but we still all had fun. well done guys and thanks again for turning out

It was a great day! and a big victory for a small club! good pics discoman! nice to meet you, and everyone else who attended. looking forward to next year.

Well done Nick, you should enter it into concourse next time, really pee off the Bentley boys!
