Bromley Pageant, June 14th

hey guys, our club stand for 15 cars for Bromley (the largest one-day classic car show in the world apparently!) has been confirmed (£5 per car - pay me on the day please) so please let me know if you fancy coming up/ down/ across for it! We'll be camping in the park overnight on the 13th as well and this usually involves beer and pizza!

I know, I know! Every year I say I'll do this one!!! But every year it always clashes with my birthday! And this year, I'm going to see AC/DC......in Paris!!!! So can I be excused please???

cool - we've got about 10 cars confirmed so far - i need to start bullying a few others so we can fill out the stand!

I have posted elsewhere on the forum that I shall be representing the Elf/Hornet register as one of the 50 cars chosen at The Cooper Register Day at Beaulieu So, sorry I won't be at Bromley but hope you all have a

put rusty on a trailer????

not quite there yet with old rusty - another couple of weeks and he might have had wheels! plus, i don't have a trailer and the rusty fund is a little slender at the mo' to blow a load on trailer hire!

the hornets and datsuns have two things in common.......... 1 they both rust like hell 2 bmc actually assembled some early datsuns in the uk... not a lot of people know that

.................and a bloody good day out was had by all - thanks to all who came. counting a pile of rusty's parts (who was there in spirit!), we had a full stand of 15 cars. several had long journeys and suffered mishaps along the way, but still made it. cheers folks and i hope somebody else can post some pics, 'cos when i got home i realised i hadn't taken even one! d'oh!

I did too, at Beaulieu. Elfie was the only Elf there amongst the 50 minis on show on the parade ground outside the main museum building. the only other Varients where, a van, a pickup and a 1275 clubby estate and 1275 GT saloon.
