Henry's progress Empty Henry's progress

Hi there - Henry is still in the car hospital - sorry garage and work has had to stop for the moment mainly due to a lack of funds to continue with his well deserved restoration. I really hope to get him back on the road some day but it wont be as soon as I planned sadly Crying or Very sad . Who knows - my numbers might come up this week and then I could have him done in a jiffy and have him ready for next spring but sadly I think this is going to stretch into a long project. I'd love to be able to come to the IMM but I will probably be there without Henry - I'd still come over and say hello as it would be great to meet everyone! Here is the latest pic of Henry! Evelyn x

henry is still further along than poor old rusty so keep the faith!

rusty's fund is simply an old jar into which the days loose change (anythin less than 50p) go at the end of the day. every now and then they added up, bagged and banked. as of this moment, rusty's fund contains £47!

no wonder it's all going so slowly! Very Happy

I went to visit Henry the other day and he is looking a lot better now he has his bonnet and boot fitted again. Now I just need to turn him from a car shaped piece of metal back into a fun driveable car! With a bit of luck that will be within the next year or so. cheers Its nice as I am starting to think about the finishing touches which makes it all seem real.
I'll post some more pics when I have them.

Take Heart!
Mine took three years to do whilst having to contend with my daughters wedding. a funeral and grandaughters birth (all expensive!) But I got there in the end, now British Mini club have invited me to show it on the Pride of Ownership stand at Bingley on the 25th January!
