ignition points setting
Well, I got my Elf running. I guessed the points setting at .013 only because when I was in high school in the 60's I had an MGA and that was the setting I used on it and it ran fine. So, what is the correct setting? Mine is a Mark III. I did a search on the form and web but nothing came up on tune up spec's. I have to admit the little car purrs like a kitten. I'm guessing it's just happy to be alive again and not in a junkyard.

Thanks
Well, I was close! When I got the car the points were fused together, I'm glad I still had my ignition tools kit and trusty (not rusty) points file.
