That looks good!

I have to say, that despite being a long-time Dreamweaver fan, I am now developing most of my pages with Serif WebPlus - everything is in one place, so I don't have to drop into Fireworks to design a button for example - my productivity has at least doubled, and the styles are superb. Plus it tracks your links and automatically updates drop-down submenus. It really is a first-class piece of kit.

Great!
What happened to the time line you asked for?
I spent some time doing it for you!

Hi John, looks good I have to say!

My initial comments would be to be careful not antagonise or alienate our fellow classic Mini lovers/friends by retaining in the timeline about the Elf/Hornet having "superior" bits etc to the "humble" mini. After all, I'm guessing you cut and paste that from another reference??? Which would only be an individuals expressive opinion rather than a collective club statement from EHR. We don't want Mini owners thinking that we think our cars are better than their cars etc, or it could come back to bite us at some shows/events etc. Anyone else agree or am I being over sensitive?

Also what happened to Tony's timeline? That seemed fine to me. Factual and to the point....

Also, maybe we should include the link to the Autotees website as we are using his design after all....?

Other than those couple of moans... brilliant! Great work John!

Cheers

I did cut and paste from another source, which was a mini forum!

so bit odd that they pushed the elf hornet!
but yeah will sort that!

I am going to adjust timeline but just wanted some thing to go up rather than another page like the merchandise which is under construction!

thanx guys!

site will expand as well as want to put a gallery back and links to newsletter archive too!
work in progress but think it looks better than the old one?
agree guys?
and definatley will link to auto tees!

Definately better. The car out line really stands out and represents both Marques (sorry you lost the "top" spot Rupert!)
All credit goes to John, all I did was obtained permission off Steve to use his outline.
My time line was produced from about three sources so cannot claim credit there.
Hope all members are ok with it

not feeling to well with my cold at mo, so working on site again and not at pub with worx crew like i usually do on a friday night!

So the site is being changed!
its gonna be wider! 1020 pixels to fill a standard 17 inch TFT screen!

more quick links, especially to autotees!
minor colour change to the quicklinks, no grey background, for some reason lost it when i widened the site!

also now the site is wider, im thinking of two on the outlined cars facing each other at top?
your thoughts guys before i go and do it.......

I like it. Nicely balanced

Just hope it does not upset the Mk 3 owners (no hinges or sliders) Laughing

It is looking fab (and Rupe was honoured to have the home page slot in the first place, let alone for so long! Smile

It does occur to me though that the home page should have our traditional black and white EHR logo - as that's what everyone recognises - in there somewhere? Also the fact that I believe it was specially designed for us? Correct me if I'm wrong Big Al?

Im no photoshop wizard so bear with me on this.....

It WILL return!

many thanks for all your kind word though guys!

Red Riley how can you tell the difference from the side outlines on home page?

and jase.... the text reguarding the "superior" bits and "humble" mini was copy and pasted from the original site I put up!
so it been there for 2 years almost, did no body read it?

it matters not, but is changed now.

the original club logo WILL reappear!
I am just not very good at combining a psd/png file with CSS layouts!
