changing Fuel Tank
has anyone fitted a fuel tank from a mini into a hornet ?? . as hornet tank is not that big . just wanted to know before i had a go

The tank will fit, but you'll need to have the filler neck cut and welded back on at the proper angle, as it needs to come out straight away from the wing, rather than toward the rear

OK THANKS that will save me time . I Think i will leave that job for a bit as i have got plenty of other things to do to it . Have you made that neck longer ?? .

No, that's the original factory job on the Elf tank.

Talking of which I have a Cooper S R/H tank that's been modified to fit an Elf/Hornet to sell if anyone's looking for one. I've fitted a ali fuel cell now. UK only.PM if interested.
