It says it ended unsold. I would contact the seller if you think you had a bid on it. The listing says it will be broken for parts if not sold!

There is soooo much work there! You would have to be a bit mental to take that on!

Slighty more reasonable than the £13.8k for the one at Beaulieu!

re: Wolseley Hornet heinz 57
Hi
I was watching the auction but they was out of my league. As I also live in Holland I did arrange shipping. Using Uship.com I had an offer for GBP 400. for door to door delivery.
Some how my e-bay alert on the hornet didn´t come through so I never had the opportunity to bid on the car. Didn´t find out until I was reading this forum on Sunday evening! The war chest was sufficient to top the final bid.
I also contacted with the original seller of the car. Interesting how the car was sold outside the auction. He does regret it now.
Hopefully another one will surface one day and we all have another go
regards
Bob

Re: wolseley hornet heinz 57
Maybe he or who ever is selling it was bidding it up,or had a friend doing it,as now you can not tell if it is a legitimate bidder
Re: wolseley hornet heinz 57
Nothing to do with me. I e mailed the seller to buy, got no reply....

Being greedy perhaps. (notice they have only sold/bought 20 items, maybe inexperienced on ebay?)

Re: wolseley hornet heinz 57
I was selling it, first buyer was a timewaster so i re-listed it yesterday and it sold within an hour or so to a lovely couple that tried to buy the one at Beulieu but were outbid.
They are going to fully restore it whatever the cost, they have been looking for a Heinz 57 for years.

Not very fair on other bidders though is it when you pull an auction and sell outside of Ebay, maybe better to list it as a classified ad. Was the car you were searching for on here to reshell the Heinz into ? I noticed you bough one and are selling already through Ebay.
