AUTOMATIC driveshaft oil seals
Has anyone got some, or can point me in the right direction to get 2 driveshaft oil seals for a 69 automatic. Part No. 22A1616.
They are bigger than the manual car.
Thanks.

Re: AUTOMATIC driveshaft oil seals
Never thought of checking minispares. I thought they must be hard to find. :-)

Re: AUTOMATIC driveshaft oil seals
It is a standard oil seal like the AHU1082 for the manual car but slightly bigger ( 22A1616 ).
Now NLA..... Mini Spares can't supply them any more.

Re: AUTOMATIC driveshaft oil seals
I always try Mini Spares first, but when they fail Somerfords is a good choice - but it helps if you know the part number (they are all the same original BL / BMC numbers used by both companies).

Re: AUTOMATIC driveshaft oil seals
I have found a very close match from a local oil seal / bearing shop so the problem should be solved.
Thanks for your sugestions.
Some thing to bear in mind if you have an automatic !

RE-AUTOMATIC driveshaft oil seals
I got all my spares for the AP mk 11 (mini auto box) from a company called JPAT they also give you a nice exploded diagram of the gearbox.

For autobox parts and repairs, try MRA Minis - member of and highly recommended by the Automatic Mini Register.
