White Sidewall Tires
I know this has come up before, but I was just doing some browsing online and came up with this White Tire Paint
This looks like a good product that has had a good bit of engineering to get it to work properly. Heck, if it can hold up on the Icelandic roads, then it must be pretty darn good! I've driven in Iceland, and I can tell you that the term "roads" is being quite generous.
This might be a great alternative to using the scooter tire portawall inserts.

I got this card that i pick up. And it a special paint that it drys like a rubber. And its not like crappy tyre paint.

I don't think that White sidewalls look right on an Elf/Hornet with wheel covers on 10" wheels. Was this ever an original option?

Re: White Sidewall Tires
Apparently they were available, but I don't think whitewalls ever really caught on in the UK like they did over here in the colonies. Notice that the first picture seems to be in the Netherlands, so maybe they were more popular in Europe. Accessories booklet show them on the car, but doesn't list them as an option, so maybe they were available aftermarket but not through the dealers.
