I have just sent off the booking form for a Stand at Malvern next month.

We will have 6 spaces and hopefully one will be "rupe"!

So, I need another 5 elfs/hornets please.

fingers crossed i can make it - might need your spare room on the sat night jase if that's ok?
be a bit of a road trip for me and jvg as i plan to watch footy in havant sat afternoon then travel up after that

Ill be with the Jester`s Mini Club that if the mini has passed it M.O.T and the end of this mounth

It's just that I am considering booking a Travel Lodge room for the Saturday night and they tell me they are booking up fast. Decisions Decision Decisions!

Book it anyway Tony! If all should go the way of the pear re tickets (which I don't think it will....) then we can always "guest" you on the Mini Foresters stand.

Malvern Update....

Andrew Greenwood has today emailed me and confirmed that we do have a stand (apparently they were full for club stands when I applied, but made an exception for us because the "Elf" is apparently Andrew's favourite type of Mini, and he would love us there!) for 6 cars.

They have assured me the tickets are in the post and I should get them anyday now...

So, the cars who have definitely said they require a stand pass thus far are

Me
Andrew
Tony
Big Al
Liz

Leaving us one space free although Big Al did say the guy with the Heinz 57 who was at Castle Combe may be interested??? Al.... any more word on that???

Of course, "Rupe's" place may be up for grabs if he is not ready in time!

I will send the tickets out as soon as I get them!

I was hoping to do this one but it looks like I'm going to be moving house that weekend. But we are going to have to exchange contracts within the next week or so... it may not happen!! If that all goes pear shaped, I might see if I can squeeze in somewhere. Marc was asking me yesterday about when we could ext go to a show. Don't save a space for me tho if someone else is after it?
Tony, which Travel lodge are you going for? I might book anyway, just in case. Unless you're on a special deal they let you cancel up o 12.00 on the day of the booking for a full refund.

I've booked into the Travel Lodge at Shorthill nurseries, just South of Kiddeminster Post Code DY13 9SH
I have taken the cheap option for (£42 none refundable) This lodge is 21 miles from The show.
Tele 0871-984-6079 When I booked they had less than 5 rooms available
there is another lodge in Worcester but you will have to use a public car park (which is what put me off that one) The nightly charge is £61 + £1 insurance for the Shorthill Lodge.BTW.

Unfortunately, I have been told today that "Rupe" won't be ready until the second week of November so he will be absent from Malvern.

I will still be there however, and will still be organising the stand, as promised. So we now have 2 spare tickets (although I am waiting for Big Al to confirm whether the Heinz 57 at Castle Combe wants one of them?)

I sorted with Liz, but Kevin wasn't there - and when I went back he'd gone.
