Some of you may be interested about the Royal Mint offer of a free medal to celebrate 50 years of the Mini.

The link is :-
http://www.royalmint.com:80/minipromotion/freeminimedal.aspx

The site may say "We are experiencing a very high volume of traffic at this time.
If you are unable to register please try again later."

But if you continue clicking on the logo which says Register (Union Jack) at the top left hand of the screen
you will eventually succeed.

Hope you are lucky.

Got one a few weeks ago and its as good as they advertise. Check out the sheet of Mini stamps. Again this looks great especially if you decide to frame it.

If you have a few extra pounds burning a hole in your pocket, the Royal Mint offer a gold medal which I'm sure will become very collectable.

Did they acknowledge you registering and notify you if you were successful in being allocated a medal ?
Other recipients on other forums say they did.

Nuts, You've got to have a UK address!
I've got the cover set with the Mini Medallion
Mini Medal MINIPMC_1
but I'd like to have one of these freebies. Anyone fancy getting an extra one and sending it my way?

Mini Medal Empty Carp Mail

Post  troutrunner Sat Sep 26, 2009 11:28 am

You know what to with junk mail, do as I do, put it back in the nearest post box. If we all saved it up till the end of the month and all put it in the nearest post box on the same day I recon it will soon stop.

Yep got my medal to this week, Paul
