Mini World photo shoot

Got an unexpected call yesterday (Sat) from Andy Butler and Zoe Harrison (who report and photo minis for Mini world mag) To say they would be passing through Chester today and would I be available for a shoot. Luckily I was free so all hell let loose to clean the Elf up! I managed to contact Ellesmere Port Boat museum to see if I could use the Museum for this and permission was given.(I have been a supporting member for many years)
Below are my shots that I managed to take with my pocket camera. Zoe took over 200 shots!!!!!

Car's looking fantasticTony - and I thought I did a good job with the polish yesterday!!

I had a problem with some of my photos when I didn't resize them before loading onto photobucket, but you haven't had this problem before so that's probably not it.

Jase.. tell me more (as I'm not planning on buying any price guides in the near future), is Rupert hogging the limelight again?

Thanks for the compliment Sarah, but resize? I'm lost there and just wondering if it's anything to do with using the "bulk uploader"? (It is a dam sight quicker)
I'll have to ask at the miniaddicts meeting tomorrow night, we have a few computer buffs there !

PS Zoe allowed me to polish the car at the last minute before the shoot, in fact she spotted one or two "misses" and BTW. I don't use the Elf on a daily basis like you (I'm ashamed to say) and is garaged and being semi retired I am able to "tinker" (no rude comments please!) a lot. my garage ia attache to the house and accessible from the kitchen so I am able to pop in and out and keep the Elfess quiet by making a pot of tea now and then LOL!

I've had a scout about in WHS and can't see what you mean Jase. Is it the celebration of 50 years of mini you refer to in the Octane magazine?

Classic and Performance Car Buyers Guide 2009, sponsored by Octane Magazine. The Classic Car buyers "bible" apparently, priced about £10 - "Rupe" stars as the Elf representative!

Classic Cars For Sale Magazine - Special Feature on 50 Years Of the Mini (Red Mini on front cover) - "Rupe" represents the Elf - again!

Mini Mag - current edition (as you mentioned before) - Nice pic and mention of "Rupe" at Brooklands.

3 Mags in one month!!!! And the best thing is I didn't know he was going to be in any of them!!!

So, yes SJ, he is hogging the limelight - again!

I think I need to take him off the road for a bit!!!

I was able to see the whole picture by right clicking on the picture and clicking on View Image, but that is on Fire Fox browser. I couldn't seem to get it to show the whole picture on Internet Explorer. Just in case anyone wandered.

Iaian Ayre shot my car at Mini 50 in April for Mini World. Maybe they'll run a two Elf edition!

I met Iain in Sunday River at the MME 2008. Nice chap.
He did Photoshoots on three minis whilst he was there! Paul Saulnier's min mouse was one. That appeared in the Feb issue this year (7 months later!) when do you expect yours to be in? No Date has been given for mine as yet.
Zoe said I would be getting a CD of the photos with a complimentary copy of Mini World with it in. Unfortunately Paul was not given one.
Looking forward to seeing them both.

Keep your eyes peeled for a buyers guide in Classic Monthly, due in the shops in early July.
