My 1969 Riley Elf Mk.3 - Abi
Finally got a chance to upload the small amount of progress achieved on Abi over the summer...
Starting with small jobs like renovating the seats, cleaning what I can in the engine bay, and now finally welding in new panels.
As always, any tips welcome!

Thank you! Yes, the spot lamp position on her is well... spot on...
Another major milestone reached today, the rear subframe is off and has uncovered how much work she really needs, its all good though, it was to be expected.

Thats coming along very nicely.
Great to see.
Just a quick point tho, when you jack it up on those chippings putting a pad of wood underneath the jack will make it a lot more safe and secure.
Elfs may well be 'small' cars but they still hurt when they land on your head !!!

Cheers Boris
I always do, however just in the instance that is pictured she was up on jacks at the front for a matter of minutes as I got the exhaust pipe off, so only had a hand underneath.
Yeah, i'd rather not have a car fall on my head...

Coming back to the Riley during COVID-19 Lock-down
As universities have sent us all home and the UK is now in lock down it means I can start work on Abi again!
Work on the bodywork continues after 2 years no less... with new floor, inner wings, outer wings and A-panels. It is so nice to be back restoring again!
I have a query regarding the colour however, I don't know if is it Fawn brown or another brown colour? Would anyone be able to advise me on this?
It is a Mk 3 Elf, G reg with red interior.
Many thanks!
