1969 hornet mk3 project
Well i thought i should start a project thread even though its a known car on here
I picked her up monday night and drove her home as she is motd and taxed and roadworthy which is a good start and was an experience as this little car is probably another 10 years older then me but i love my old cars as they have character which you dont get in modern plastic and ecus
So the good side is shes solid underneather floor pans sills and all the hidden are fine
The paintwork is another story and looks tired and very tatty but all this will change over the course of the next few months
The interior is shocking to say the least and will be taken out and sorted with another interior maybe not a pure hornet interior but maybe borrowed from one of her slightly younger cousins
Im pretty fortunate that i have a very large garage on the side of my house with plenty of room for the little lady
And i think i got all angles cover as a mechanic by trade but also trained in panel beating and spraying
But thats enough of my rambling heres a few pics alot will change this weekend as stripping down and windows and grotty interior out
