Spark Plug Caps
We just received our issue of the June MiniWorld (SA is always a bit behind) and as always I have a quick look at the Ebay watch section. To my surprise, I noticed that there was a NOS Champion Spark Plug Cap. It was sold for roughly 108 Pounds or so, for one. I had a look at the item again and was surprised to see it looked familiar and realised that my dad had just given me a full NOS set of these. So right now I feel very lucky.

SPARK PLUG CAPS :
Am still curious if NGK spark plug caps are equally rare / exotic / valuable as the Lucas type referred to by Jared Mk3.David2010 wrote:Jared Mk3 wrote:We just received our issue of the June MiniWorld (SA is always a bit behind) and as always I have a quick look at the Ebay watch section. Re: Spark Plug Caps
Can you maybe post a picture of the items you have?

Re: Spark Plug Caps
The Champion type are only expensive as the early cars used them, they were superseded in the early 60's (approx 62/3) so are in great demand for people restoring early cars correctly. The 62/3 onwards type are still available so are about £4.
It will depend on if the NGK type are available and to which cars they were fitted to originally to determine if there is sufficient demand to increase the price. I would doubt "normal" caps would be worth more than about £5 each regardless of how rare they are, it's the demand that increases the price.
