inner door handles
Stevie,
Afraid to say the original mechanisms for the door locks and for the window winders are both different to the ones used in a mini. I'm about to have a clear out so could help out with either if you need them. I'm assuming you have a MK3.

Stevie,
The original set up for the Mk3 Elf / Hornet has a single inner rod which allows the door to be locked and opened from one inner handle. The inner rod mechanism, lock and outer handle are all specific to the Elf / Hornet and different to the MK3 mini which has 2 inner rods, one for the latch and one for the lock. I'm wondering if you have a mix of components which don't work properly together. I'm afraid I don't have a Mk3 car here to take pictures of the lock set up for you but if no-one else can help I'll try to scan my parts book later this week.
Good luck.
