303 JCY - 1964 Mk2 Hornet Restoration on Youtube
I was browsing youtube and came across this awesome "documentary". This kid and his dad restored a 1964 Mk2 Wolseley Hornet and documented pretty much everything. It's basically a slide show with music, but it's pretty cool to see something come from the beginning to the end.
I don't know if this has been posted on here before (I did do a search), but I figured if it has, it's worth sharing anyways.

Well, enjoy. I'm off to the DVLA to get my hornet registered as an historic vehicle....oh the fun.

have seen some of these and they are worth a look - quite a good resource too for those with dismantled cars who can't remember where all the bits go!

Hey bro, I'm good I have not really progressed that much, I have everything to finish it but I travel out of the country so often now that I have not managed to do much at all. Did you clear your yard? I'll soon be posting again as I gain moral to complete the car. Don't be too much of a stranger.Nick wrote:Hi robinkritz! How are you? Long time no see. Thats great guys, I actualy watched the YouTube project from start to finish, I'm about to fit the front panel and roof and the documentary has given me a few good Ideas. I had to scavange the parts off Nicks shell that he sold me. Im learning how to weld too which will reduce the cost for my future projects.Big_Al_Smith wrote:old Ray and i went round a month or two back and gave him a hand to tidy the scrapyard he calls a back garden - just room to swing a cat now!

The pictures are great, but I wish they had just a picture gallery somewhere so I could browse through and study the work without the horrible music. Sorry, nice work on the Elf, but lose the soundtrack! Oy, my ears!
