seller says that it is suitable for 1 ltr elf/ hornet if we have Lucas 25D distributor.

Yes, but you will need to to change your polarity, this is for negative earth only.
I have a set but seeing my ignition is not giving me a problem I have not fiited them as yet.
I'm told it is easy to do this. You have to remove the battery to short the dynamo a few times.using jump leads to reverse it's polarity (after removing the fan belt) you will then have to ensure you change the battery terminals to complete the job.
This cost is half of what the likes of Mini Spares charge so sounds like good value.

finally fitted it today - easy to fit - test drive of a couple of dozen miles seemed fine. will see how it goes over the next month or so, but so far, all good
