[RESOLVED] How to remove these hubcaps safely ?

Hi everyone,

I have to remove the wheels of my Riley Elf mk3, but I don't know how to remove the hubcaps.
I tried to use a screwdriver as a lever, but it bends the hubcap...  

Here is a photograph of the wheel.


Does anybody know ? Or have an idea ?

I use a large, flat blade screwdriver and push it under the wheeltrim as far as you can, then twist. It may look like the wheel trim is bending but as soon as the hubcap parts "pops" off the edge part should spring back into shape.
