Long Time without an elf

I have not posted here in a long time.  I have to share a story with you all.  I have owned many cars in my life, 100+, no joke.  Many cars have come and gone without any thought.  but a few (maybe 3) have stuck in my heart and I have deeply regretted selling them.  One in particular was my green 1968 Riley Elf.  A really solid nice driving car when I had it.  I sold it to a man in NJ and he rather quickly sold it to another man in NJ.  This man invested $20+ thousand dollars into my old Elf and what an amazing job he did.  It has won MANY prestigious awards here in the USA.  I had never done this in my life but I was determined to buy my Elf back.  Well, one and a half years later I have my Elf back.  Just wanted to share this with the Elf community!

Did you buy it back from Mike (Captain 61 on the forum) ? Somehow I never made the connection that it was your car that he was restoring. You're a very lucky guy to have it back after all the work he did on it.

I remember it well. I was just trying to find they pictures I took for you, but they seem to have vanished.

She is officially back home in my Garage, I am excited to get to know her all over again!
