Valuation Price ?
How Do We Work Out Prices For Hornet / Elf Parts I E Someone wants to buy a front grill off me . it would be good to have a valuation section ?? They have one on the mini forum that seams to work

Thats almost impossible because all parts are in different stages of deterioration and condition. I had an almost perfect grill which wasn't as good as my own . I sold it for £60 cos that was what I paid for it! (minus Riley badge. Buyer was made up (I'm pleased to say!) Sorry , I cant remember how much the postage was!
Any more members got ideas on geoff-d ' suggestion for a section as suggested?
PS The Mini Forum is minis in general where almost everything is available but we folks have bits which are not widely available or produced any more

I'd have to say that our "special" parts are generally worth what people are willing to pay for them. Difficult to assess really - for example someone who already has a spare bumper will be prepared to pay less than someone who hasn't got one at all. Supply and demand etc.....
