door hinges

can you use the lower hinge off an internal hinge mini for top and bottom on a mk3 elf/hornet if not i need a complete set of hinges!!

Depends on the size of the hinge you have fitted.

Elfs can have two different sized hinges fitted - early ones were tiny (see thread by WhiteBuffalo) and the other larger size are the same as a Mini lower hinge.

I recently went through the Elf hinge issue... first of all the Elf hinges almost impossible to find. I ended up getting the mini ones on line... but they are not the right size... my Elf hinges are about 2" tall, the mini ones are 2-5/16 tall... but I made them work easily, just cut a hole at the right location on mini one and they fit...
