I thought why not share some pictures over here. :-)
already putted some on the introduce page.
And stripped the car down:
Starting to build a new front.
(test fitting)
and after some banging and welding...
just need to make the vent holes and tidy up the welds then i will use some lead filling to make it nice.

front pannel
very nice looks like it came out really well
i am wanting/needing to do the same on our hornet did you convert the indicator holes if so would u have step by step guidence of how u did it

Yes i did convert the indicator holes. You have to locate where the hole has to come and cut lines into the higher areas so its easier to flatten it.

yeh have seen it on ther what is your views on doing it i just dont want to spent £50 on front pannel and then £45 on the elf/hornet insert to end up stuck hehe i can do meatel work and welding just having the confidance to do it i think

have to weld a lot i guess. New front, wings, inner wings, bottom, door skins, a panels, rear valence and more i think. :-)
I think this front is worth doing the job an time.
Yes it wil cost you money and yes you have to cut into a nice mini panel but i think the result is a nice and firm front last for years.
And if i can do it i think every one can.
