hi, my name is Dave, my latest project is a 1966 MK3 elf, found in a garden after been stood for 16 years, im going to restore it for my wife who has a passion for these cars.
Iam a mechanic by trade and and own and run a garage repairing Jaguar, Aston Martin and Rolls Royce motor cars.
My other passion is my 1968 Mini Cooper which ive had since i was 15 years old, (now 51). I restored it in 2006/7 and since then it has won 13 concours trophies,
Hopefully the Elf will be as good if not better than the Cooper in terms of finish, fit and quality. The car is complete with nothing missing, except for large holes that should be metal, lol, restoration is due to start around October this year.
