Re: IMM 2013 Italy
for sure chum - we might even fit you into one of our little cars for the drive there and back if you can make it here, depending on how many go of course (we may have a support vehicle and trailer if we have over three or four cars going)
Re: IMM 2013 Italy
if all goes well I will be there with the Beach Car and the Olympic Airways Van.

Re: IMM 2013 Italy
Will I need to register if I'm only going as a passenger?

Re: IMM 2013 Italy
i would think so as you'd still need to buy an entry ticket mate 9which seems to be the same as registering) - and mention the club when you do fill in the form please as i cannot work out how to add our club to the list of clubs attending!
if in douubt, drop them an email and ask (though site seems to still be under construction!)
at the moment, it looks as though we'll have a contingent of 4-5 cars going, though this may change ....

Re: IMM 2013 Italy
looking at the route, which is some 940 miles from my house, i'd suggest a ferry/ chunnel dover/ calais then 2 overnight stops on the way there around Reims and Lucerne with rough distances being:
chislehurst-reims 258 miles
reims-lucerne 318 miles
lucerne-scarperia 330 miles
any thoughts?

+ 223 Chester to Chislehurst. I don't think so! I doubt I'd be able to walk after that journey! Sorry Al

Re: IMM 2013 Italy
If you are staying over in Reims,it would be worth visiting the old Circuit de Reims, which is just on the outskirts, they still hold a 12hr race there each year, and are in the process of restoring some of the old buildings,we visited when on our way to Switzerland last year, will dig a couple of pictures out
Re: IMM 2013 Italy
Web site recently updated with programme of events, coming soon a Ferry booking code which should help with the crossing cost
According to the programme Saturday afternoon about 3 pm looks like it might be worth attending, doubt the wife will want to come along though

Re: IMM 2013 Italy
Okay, so I just checked out the updated website and it says (if I'm reading it right) that 1 registration is good for 1 car and 5 passengers. So, if I'm a passenger with someone who is registered, I wouldn't need to have my own registration?

Re: IMM 2013 Italy
No you will definiately need to register yourself ,otherwise you will not be able to go anywhere as you will not be issued with wristband ,meal vouchers etc
