New Riley
The latest Riley added to the fleet is a 1966 Mk1 Riley Kestrel. From the history files, service records and MOT's, it looks to be a genuine car. Looking at the DVLA "How Many Left" website, there are less than 25 on their records with only 16 currently on the road. So quite a rare beast
Just a few images.
I'm running out of garage space so may decide to sell the Red Elf. If there is anyone interested please let me know.

How lovely is that???? I love the 1100/1300 variants. You are very lucky to have that.

Re: New Riley
That is nice. My uncle used to have one when I was young - one of the nicest cars he ever had.

Re: New Riley
Another great purchase and such a rare car. It is as good as it looks in the photo's and drives like new. I had the MG 1300 2 door variant as my third car back in the late 70's and despite the constant battle with rust and not being able to afford to maintain it, it was one of my favourite cars.
I took it to the Pride of Longbridge show last weekend and 1100/1300 owners club told me that nearly 22,000 Mk1 Kestrels were built between late 65 and 67 and only a handful have survived. I had loads of interest and as it's the 50th anniversary of the first 1100 (Morris) this year, there will be plenty of shows to attend. I hope the weather picks up soon.
I have know about this car for a few years and when the owner decided to move it on, due to lack of use (400 miles in 4 years) I had no hesitation in raiding the Building Society savings book.
Chuffed to bits!
