A few small items from MS. Can finally finish off the braking system and bleed it.

I haven't done too much to the car lately, especially with maintenance being carried out on the house. She does, however, now have a fresh garage. Nice and clean.

Also got a few extra stickers from StickyFingers :

I haven't updated in a while. It hasn't been a good time with the Mini of late. I'm still waiting for the completion of the 1000S cylinder head. Also, the Force centres were sent in for a colour change, but returned looking like utter ****. The less said about this, the better. Hopefully they can rectify the problem.

I made a start with bleeding the brakes. Few leaks here and there, but I hope I've sorted them out. Still a bit of a spongy pedal, so need to do some more. The grille has also been sent in to be chromed, so should look a lot better soon. Lastly, I received a few parts for the gear selector.

I started with this (rubbish picture, but it was covered in oil) :

And after a bit of petrol, degreaser and some aluminum cleaner, I ended up with this :

I need to strip and repaint the gear lever and then reassemble with some fresh parts. One less item ticked off the list. I need to make a start on the diff and get it out the way.

I got the gearlever mechanism built up and completed today. Fitted new nylon bushes where needed and the detent spring. Feels really smooth now, even without being fitted to the car.

I also fitted the very first part I bought for the car (10 years ago already). Feeling rather nostalgic :

I didn't do much this weekend, apart from getting the clutch cover cleaned up :
