Hello from Berwick upon Tweed
Hi
I have been an Elf owner since 1995 but due to the dreaded tin worm the car has been off the road since 2004. However salvation is in sight and our local village garage has just about finished replacing the floor and the rear subframe. The rest of the car is OK as it has already had A panels, wings, front panel, door skins and a respray back in 2000. The car runs a fairly standard 1275 motor with LCB, RC 40 etc, S discs, Minilites etc. It had a full roll cage in but I have taken that out and intend to return the interior to standard, although I do have an original Aleybars rear cage sitting in the garage which may go in

Re: Hello from Berwick upon Tweed
I meant to add that I have a Heritage certificate for the car which shows the date of manufacture as
July 1963 but it was'r sold and registered until March 1965. It is a Mk2 998 with dry suspension.
Any suggestions as to why this might have happened ?
I have the original service manual and between 1965 and 1970 it did about 8,000 miles in total.

Hi
I may be getting the hang of this. I took these photos of the car just before it went off for surgery on the floor
