I have a perished dust shield on one of my front displacers. Do you thnk that's an MOT fail?

It looks like a pig to change it!

Not as far as I know. But some examiners might put it down as an advisory note.

Mine passed with one missing...Not even an advisory on it.

I would not know. I've changed a baby but not a pig. Shocked

new ones are available from places like mini spares and somerford - a lot of disassembly and re-assembly involved in changing them however.

i tend to leave 'em 'til there's another reason to be stripping suspension down and do it then

DEFINITELY NOT an MOT failure, mine's been perished for years, but goes through every time. Not a failure ecause it doesn't contain fluid or grease, just a dust cover.
