temperature gauge
hi , i have a elf mk3 and temperature gauge is not working , theres nothing if i ground the wire to the sensor , also the fuel gauge still works as i know they are interconected , before i remove my dash im wondering if anyones had the same problem , thanks

If you've checked the engine earth, and have earthed the wire to the temp sender, and get no reading I'm assuming it's a broken wire somewhere along the line. Try checking for continuity of the wire within the engine bay before you go pulling the dash out. Might even be a badly crimped connector.

hiya , yes thanks , ive dug out a spare gauge and voltage stabiliser and will give a look at tomorow , im wondering if its a poor conection on the dial itself , its not worked since i got it back on the road last year after 25 year lay up . !!

late post but it was a wire frayed through behind dash , sorted
