Just dropping by to say 'Hi!'

As 2011 is 'The Year of the Elf' I thought I'd drop by to say 'Hi!' and 'Happy Birthday Elf' on behalf of the Riley Motor Club. As TonyElf and others will know, I don't have an Elf (my Riley is a '63 One-Point-Five) but I see plenty of them every year at Club meetings and I write about them in the Club's magazine which I edit.
I hope I won't be blackballed for not being an owner....

You certainly won't be blackballed by any of us. We welcome others who keep our British Motoring Heritage alive.
I will be writing up a article of my Elf as requested for the Riley Mag. I have just had the cylinder head reconditioned for lead free petrol but made the stupid mistake of leaving the various studs on when I took it in.
Of couse they have gone "mssing"and I am now sourcing new ones! I am getting there, slowly!

Thanks for the welcome Tony, and for writing something for Riley Record. Good luck with the head rebuild - I hope it all comes together for when the sun shines (eventually...)
