Re-assembly Empty Re-assembly

Post  reymondos Tue Mar 01, 2011 9:10 pm

My car is virtually in pieces right now, and soon the re-assembly will start.

Initially I will have to put on the two subframes so the car can move around in the workshop.

What would the correct sequence be.
My main concern is about brake lines, fuel lines, main battery cable and steering rack. Question

Not sure about all of it but I think you have to fit the steering rack before the front subframe.

If it were my car I would run the fuel pipe first, then the steering rack, front to rear brake pipe (rough fit to get it round the subframe), fit the front sub frame, run the battery cable. But I'm damn sure I'll do it all differently when I get round to doing mine.....well nearly everything will run through the car :-)
