Here is my link to my photobucket shots. Not up to date but near enough to show how the whole floor cut out. 2 overcills removed one side and one off the other. The open classic is now here with 1275 engine and running gear c/w discs and 12" wheels (I want 10" so got to work on that)

Re: matts elf project
I'm liking it so far
You're doing a fair few mods that I would like to do when I finally get hold of a project There has been a little progress on that front, I've got an engine?! Could just do with a shell to go with it then I'll be on the way...
Any more progress since Christmas on this one?

That's too bad Sorry you have to sell the car. Too bad it isn't here in the US, I would buy it.

Awwww. Bad times
I was really enjoying this thread and was very impressed with your work. Sucks that you have to sell up, let's just hope it goes to true enthusiast.
Keep the faith Brother.

Update :)
Following on from my build thread. after selling my first ever car I got at the age of 15 I regrettably sold my elf on in 2011 And after many years of searching. I have been reunited with it almost the same way as I sold it all that time ago. Still feeling very lucky to have it back home once again.
