Water pump Empty Water pump

Post  flat broke Sat Feb 19, 2011 5:45 pm

After the winter rebuild and refresh of the engine bay, the water pump decided to start leaking Mad .

The new pump was correct for an ealy 998 according to my supplier. However it appears to have a deeper impeller and I am sure it will foul the clylinder wall casting. Any thoughts/advice?

Cheers, Tony

Measure the depth you have in the block for the impeller, then measure the water pumps required depth. You might find it'll fit ok.

If it's this one http://www.minispares.com/Product.aspx?ty=pb&pid=34895&title= then it should fit.

Hope that helps
