Long time Elf owner popping in

Thought I'd pop up and say hello.

I've had a multitude of booted Minis since '92, and my Dad did before me.
Currently got 3 Elfs and a Hornet, and fingers crossed there should be a pic of my newest one in Mini Mag next month.

Nice addition to the Register. The first time I met this character was at a Spring Thing in Florida one February. And he was driving...a very nice, original Elf. From that event I do remember a little about Alex, but I remember a lot more about his car...and his future wife!

Your memory fails you Chuck - we actually met in the carpark outside Gaydon in '99 when you had your Moke & Wildgoose over, and the following week at Silverstone.
I went to see the blue Elf in Coventry for you as well - the one that has just popped up for sale in the US for a wildly overpriced $35,000...

I have a much better memory for cars...and women.

No, the two of us are trying to save them together. My stock is a little depleted, but still around here:

Mk I, Mk II and Mk III Elf. The one with the most mileage has 33k.
