Professional Photoshoot
Had the great experience of a photoshoot for a forthcoming magazine edition, featuring Classics of the Practical variety!
Was a long and tiring day but I can't wait for the finished result. Whenever I look at these mags, I think airbrush instantly, and no doubt there is always some re-touching etc, but I took these pics of my elf in the studio using only my mobile phone... no effects used by me. But the minute the photographer turned on the studio lights, I thought, Wow! The car has never looked so good!!! So imagine what the photographers pics will look like? As for that old saying the camera never lies... my camera phone was clearly lying it's ass off!!!! lol
I couldn't get over the fact that my Elf looks like a Dinky model in these pics!!!
(notice I put the original wheels back on....)

Re: Professional Photoshoot
Some nice shots there Jase. Shame you didn't have your camera with you!
I was lucky with the Mini World photoshoot,it was a bright and hot sunny day, so bright that Zoe the photogragher had me in all sorts of positions! Sounds bad that eh? LOL It was so bright I had to keep turning the Elf round to get the sun in right direction. My favourite shot was with the car backing into the sun and using a reflector bounced the light back into front of car. A total of 180 shots were taken and they only used 13 of them. (several of each position at different exposures)
Heres some of them

Really interesting how your phone camera adds just the right amount of grain and blur to the the photo to make the car look very "plastic." And with the wheel trims on, it could well be a very detailed scale model. Are you sure you actually have a real car, or have you been passing off pictures of a model one?
