changing the dunka dunka fuel pump
Hey all
I wish to chage the old fashioned type fuel pump on my mini for a later facet? type pump for increased reliability etc
By dunka dunka I mean the sound it makes when you turn on the ignition
I do not wish to fit a fuel presure regulator and I do not feel the need for something that can pump a gazillion litres per second...
What pumps are recommended and what pressure should I be looking for as I do not wish to overload the float stop etc.
Many thanks

Re: changing the dunka dunka fuel pump
Not sure since my Honda motor wouldn't use the same pump anyway, but I remember when I still had the 998 in that the electric fuel pump, even the new one that I put in, always made the dunka dunka noise. Not sure there's any other kind. But, I should think any of the many Mini suppliers over on your side of the pond would be more than happy to recommend and sell you a pump to meet your requirements.
