Elf out in the Snow Empty Elf out in the Snow

Post  bmcelf Wed Dec 23, 2009 3:18 am

It snowed in North Carolina so it was time to test my new Elf. The most snow in years here with a sleet crust. Everything was fine until I stopped for the picture. The little tires just couldn't get traction. After shoveling a tire path everything was fine since the roads were clear of show. (The bumpers are at the plater.) I intend to enjoy and drive my car.

Nice photo Jim. Car looks great.
Enjoy your motoring.
BTW I have never got stuck in my minis (up to 8" deep anyway) Very Happy
Chester UK is free from snow up to now whilst the rest of the country are having problems! Mad

Yeah it make`s me laugh that modern cars can seem to go up hill easy. Then you get an old mini and they just fly past them Laughing Laughing

most excellent! keep on enjoying that little car and i hope your bumpers come back nice n' shiny to go with that paintwork! Very Happy

personally i just managed to get jvg tucked away in the garage about an hour before it snowed down here, having only just got my old mondeo back from ford's (warranty work even though it is 15 years old!) and using jvg every day for 9 days before the snow! just avoided most of the road grit/ salt (fingers crossed)
