Back After 20 Years!

Morning all. I've just bought another Elf after 20 years away. My wife had one when we got married & I had mk1 Cooper for over 10 years (wish I never parted with that one). Now we've gone full circle & bought one for the girls to learn to drive in. It came from a "well known auction site" with a few surprises thrown in - like the impulse to leap into the nearest hedge every time you hit the brakes! Still a weekend underneath it & now pulls up nice & square. as with all these things, there's 100s of little jobs to do, but hey - it's just like old times. however, does anybody know where I can get a mkIII boot badge from?
Happy Christmas to all, time to go now, as it needs new hand brake cables fitting & a drivers door mirror (for the learners) & the passenger door re-hanging etc etc. Happy Days.....

Hi all. The driving lessions are going fine & I still have all my hair. The exhaust fell off last week though, £32 + Vat for a new one seemed pretty good to me - so much easier to fit than the LCBs I used to run on the old Cooper. However as usual, you do one job & find another - the gearbox rubber X joints have seen better days!
