Need some help/advice guys...

IS the bottom dash and covering the same as Mk1 mini?

If so, can anyone recommend a supplier? "Rupe'"s got melted with weld splatter some time back, and will now become quite noticeable when the refurb is complete...

I think we have had a discussion about this before but can't find it!
I picked up a strip of vynyl for mine at Himley for a fiver, enough to do to and bottom rails and about £4.50 for some spray on adhesive. It has a slight crackly effect.

Not sure about supplier, maybe Woolies?

I used some black Vinyl Roof stuff (just like the olde codgers ( jeez - now I am one) used to stick on the roofs (rooves?) of their Hillman Hunters/Ford Cortinas). Came from a car upholsterer's shop - got to be one near you. It was a dead ringer for the original stuff - as Tony says - with a crackly finish to it.

IIRC, the bog standard Mk1 Min had painted dash rails - maybe the "super de-luxe" had the vinyl finish but I couldn't afford one of those at the time - besides I was saving up for an Elf...........

Cheers
