Wiper motor Mk1/2 single speed

Elf wiper motor is playing up, Having a problem getting new bushes, can anyone help please?

Do you mean Brushes or bushes ??? My local Auto electricians (Ribblesdale in Preston, Lancs) may have the brushes

I have a single speed but self parker in Elfie - hope to get new brushes for that soonish else I'm going for a later 2-Speed self parker now that I have the switchgear to suit.

If its bushes you're after, 'appen we can turn some up in th'old lathe...all we need are the nominal dimensions....(oh b*gger!, I'll have to get some more bronze - ran out a couple of weeks ago)

Thanks for your help, I have not stripped the motor down yet so not 100% sure what problem is. I suspect it is the brushes .All I can find are "three" wire sets (there are only two wires into my motor)
Hopefully I'l get round to stripping it down over the weekend.

This might help a bit - about half way down is a spares list for wiper motors. The rest is quite interesting as well.
