Hi. my names Ross, I'm currently 16. i am from Weston-super-mare, just south of bristol

Earlier this year i purchased a Riley elf. Built in 1969, it is still in o.k condition. couple of rust holes but nothing to hard to fix. it is fitted with 10" minilites but i also have the standard wheels fitted with cross-ply tires for when i take it to shows etc.

I have been racing minis on short oval circuits since i was 10. picking up many race wins and a few championships.

Hi Ross,
Welcome to the club. It looks from your website you are already a hardened mini fan. Very impressive.
What are you plans for the Elf? Is it going to be modified or restored to original? Do you do the work on the cars yourself?
At the moment your pics links arnt working but I am sure we will enjoy seeing them. We love pictures!!!!!!

Plans... well im going to keep the minilites on for daily driving. Might fit a stage one kit but that will be it. easy to put back to standared when i sell it

me and my dad do all the work, he used to own a workshop so i done all my racecars in there, he still owns the building but rents it out. nut we can use it when ever we want.

im also looking for a cheap mini for modification, would seem a shame to modifiy my elf when it will be worth more standared.

How cheap are you looking to go on a Mini? I know one going for £1200 K plate. Been looked after

I dont want a mini quite yet, going to drive my elf for abit and get used to driving on the road. then i should of saved up enough money to spend on a mini and make it look how i want.
