Elf Scuttle Chrome Trim clips

Hi

Does anyone know where I can buy the clips which secure the chrome scuttle trim ? They are not listed on the Mini Spares web site.After a very prolonged restoration period (15 years !) I am taking my Elf for its MOT next weekend and it would be useful if I had the these clips. Three on the drivers side were knackered so I drilled out the pop rivets and then found that the trim clips I had bought from Mini Spares were too large. I had brought the wrong ones !

Thanks. They seem to have to be out of stock but apparently the same clips were used on a Midget so I found some on Ebay

I purchased all my trim clips from "M-Machine" just ask for Doreen.

Did you get the square shaped ones with the two fingers or tabs on one side? Or the round type? I seem to remember being told by someone that it's easier or better to use the round ones on the ends of the scuttle trim where it comes around the side. Mine was sprung out a bit on the ends and I fought a long struggle to get it to clip into place.

With regard to your topic, I don't know which trim clips were purchased as the went direct to my restorer.
