Hi from Lancashire
Hi
Me and my father own 2 Riley Elf's (one not quite finished yet), a 1968 and a 1969.
I was wondering if anyone knew roughly how many Elf's are in this country?
I have never seen any apart from mine in local shows around Lancashire.

Hi Jan,
Welcome to the forum, are you also a member of the Elf-Hornet register?
It's be great if you could post some pics of your cars. I'm not sure of the numbers bot someone on here will be able to give you a rough idea.

Hi Jan and welcome to the register.
Re numbers, I can't give you exact figures but there are hundreds still on the road in the UK and abroad. The Elf and Hornet Register, Riley Motor Club and Wolseley Register help to keep the brands alive and this forum has several active members as you can see from the replies so far. If you wish to see other Booted Mini examples, try visiting larger Mini shows such as the British Mini Club show at Himley Hall in the Midlands this Sunday and I can guarantee there will be a good selection of both Elf and Hornet variants. If you prefer to keep to local shows, make contact with Tony Elf as he lives in Cheshire and is an active member of this club and I'm sure he will be able to recommend some local events where you will be able to see other cars and meet up with their owners.
Good luck with your nearly complete car.

Hi Jan, Welcome to the forum. My local mini club www.miniaddicts.co.uk have booked a club stand at Himley,(a great show in lovely grounds) my Elf will be there and also a Hornet we hope.
I met two Elf owners at Mini Meet East in Maine. USA last year, they are every where! I bet you will see loads now you've said that!
Now get cracking and finish those cars
