I've got one of those. It matched my car before I put the arches and 13 inch Superlites on.

That's often the case. Mine would be spot on if it did not have the wing mounted morrors. (I've put mine on the doors)

What's that all about then! Ther I am merrily watching the item before I sit down to my Sunday lunch - no bids with 45 mins to go. OK maybe lunch should have been ready before 4pm - but you haven't met my oven! Checked back on when we'd finished fully intending to bid- not only has it gone but at £23.00!
Keithm50, are you there, that was going to be a birthday present to myself - not that I'm bitter!!
Oh well - probably just as well I didn't start bidding - I would have got carried away!!

Oh what a shame. They must have thought you had too many Damask Reds anyway!
I find waiting until last minute is best way.
1) Because if you start too early the price goes sky high. Take those 4 riley wheel trims "Show condition" going for £112 at the moment. (No ,it's not me bidding!)
2) You can decide how much you are prepared to go up to and bang that figure in. The automatic bidding only goes just above the last offer, you need not neccesarily pay your full offer depending on the time left to bid. I have won a few things like that and not paid anything like my top figure.

Never mind, hopefully another one will come along soon.
I do have a yukon grey model with white roof if you ar interested. I bought it for someone else who changed his mind and did not want it! It cost me £32 with postage. It is one of 1152 made If no one on the forum is interested it will go on the bay soon

Yo ElfGirl
Did you get your 1/43 Elf off of EvilBay???
If not you could probably twist my arm and get me to part with mine. I bought it from Trafford Model Centre a few years ago 'cos it was Damask Red/Whitehall Beige like mine (was - now a very similar Triumph Carmine Red until its next spray). Anyway the problem for me is its a Mk3 as per the one you were watching on EvilBay whilst my Elfie is a Mk2. If you want it reply to this posting and follow up with a pm for your address. I don't think I ever took it out of the box (mirrored background as per) so its a minter. I think iirc I paid about £23 for it......add a couple of quid for p&p (total £25) and its yours (see the one you were watching went for £31 but I'm not in the habit of ripping folk off (jeez - I'd be well into my second million if I did!). I can take Paypal for payment or I can swap it directly for a Mk2 (ie. with the external door hinges) in the same colours and in good "nick" if you have one.
Cheers
Alan
